Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Patori P.S. Case No. 60 of 2017 registered under Sections- 8, 15, 18, 46, 47, 48 of the NDPS Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner had given the land in question, which is situated 2 Kms away from the house of the petitioner, to Mithilesh Rai on Sud Bharna and he had no knowledge that his lands are being used for cultivation of opium. That the main accused is Mithilesh Rai to whom the land was given for cultivation. Petitioner, on call, appeared before the police and told about the aforesaid fact of cultivation. It is further submitted that

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Patori P.S. Case No. 60 of 2017 in connection with Sessions Judge, Samastipur.
