In this case, the petitioner is claiming an amount of Rs.3,75,200/- for the work done by him.

The petitioner is a contractor of the Railway was allotted the work of supply for SPJ/S & T/W token less Block Instrument Saharsa-Manshi for Rs.3,75,200/-. The petitioner entered into an agreement with the Railway. As per the claim of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.10953 of 2015 dt.06-03-2017 2/2 petitioner, he has completed the work which has been inspected by the competent person and found the completion of the work, but the petitioner still awaiting for the payment of the aforesaid amount including the Progress Guarantee Rs.27,000/-. 4.

Let the petitioner file a detailed representation to the Divisional Manager Single and Technical Engineer, East Central Railway, Samastipur along with the copy of this order. If such an application is filed by the petitioner, the Divisional Manager Single and Technical Engineer, East Central Railway, Samastipur shall examine the claim of the petitioner and if it is found that the petitioner is entitled to the aforesaid amount, then the same will be released in his favour within three months from the date of filing of representation by the petitioner. In case of rejection, the authority must pass reasoned order.

With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ application is disposed of.
