For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Dr. Amrendra Kumar, Adv.
For the Opposite Party/s : Mr. Zainul Abedin ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 14-06-2017 Heard Dr. Amrendra Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Zainul Abedin, learned A.P.P. for the State. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Barun P.S. Case No. 55 of 2017 for offence registered under Sections 8, 17(c) and 18(C) of the NDPS Act.
Perusal of the First Information Report and the impugned order show that it is not a fit case for grant of bail to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 28.03.2017.
Learned A.P.P. opposed the prayer for bail.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present application at this stage. The application filed on behalf of the petitioner is rejected. (Rajeev Ranjan Prasad, J) manish/- U T
