JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 18-10-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that the concerned First Information Report was registered on her fardbeyan making allegation against certain persons for killing of her granddaughter. However, during investigation, it was confessed by her son that he had killed her daughter as she was not ready to marry the person of his choice and, to save him, the petitioner created a false story and the FIR was lodged. It is urged that the petitioner is in custody since 24.06.2016 and she is a lady. It is apparent that she did not play any role in killing of her
