Petitioners are languishing in custody in connection with Sangrampur P.S. Case No. 117 of 2016 for offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

Twenty-two bottles each containing 375 ml of foreign liquor was recovered from the possession of both the petitioners.

The petitioners have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent and further submission is that the petitioners would file undertaking before the Court-below that they would not indulge in such activities in future. Considering the aforesaid submission of the
