2. The petitioner is in custody since 27.07.2016 in connection with Sherghati (Dobhi) P.S. Case No. 351 of 2016 for the offences alleged under Sections 272, 273 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated on mere suspicion and he has no connection with the recovery of 240 bottles of foreign liquor. It is stated that the petitioner is neither the owner nor the driver of the vehicle in question.

4. Having regard to the nature of accusations and gravity of offence alleged and recovery of quantity of 240 bottles of foreign liquor, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of bail to the petitioner. Bail petition stands dismissed.
