Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.
100 litres of liquor was recovered from the motorcycle. Two persons were apprehended on a motorcycle including the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 23.06.2020. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Investigation of the case against the petitioner is already complete.
Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37153 of 2020(2) dt.02-02-2021 2/2 Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Bihta Police Station Case No. 449 of 2020 (Special Case No. 4102 of 2020), subject to the following conditions:- (a) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the learned Court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
