2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sigori P.S. Case No. 202 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 409, 420, 120-B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that a loan of Rs. 26,47,554/- was issued to Chiksi PACS Committee by the Patliputra Central Co-operative Bank Ltd. in the year 2015-16. It is alleged that this petitioner who was Chairman of the committee along with accused persons neither purchased paddy for which loan was sanctioned nor repaid the loan granted for the said purpose.

4. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43059 of 2024(4) dt.18-10-2024 2/2 is innocent and has committed no offence as alleged in the FIR. Petitioner is an old and respectable lady and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Petitioner is ready to deposit the debt amount. In this regard, a supplementary affidavit has already been filed, and in paragraph no. 4 of the same, it is stated that petitioner is ready to deposit the debt amount i.e. Rs. 26,47,554/- with interest in installments at the rate of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Two lakhs) per month in the account of the Patliputra Central Co-operative Bank Ltd., Paliganj Branch, Patna. Petitioner is in custody since 26.02.2024.

In view of the undertaking made on behalf the petitioner, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate-I, Danapur, Patna in connection with Sigori P.S. Case No. 202 of 2022.

6. In case of breach of undertaking indicated herein above by the petitioner, the Court below shall be at liberty to cancel her bail-bond.
