Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 323, 341, 379, 385, 506, 34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged that petitioner and co-accused Jai Chandra Mahto demanded Rs. 10,000/- as extortion and on protest being made co-accused Jai Chandra Mahto assaulted with rod to the informant causing fracture injury and this petitioner took out Rs. 5500/- and gold chain of the informant.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that maliciously the accusation has been levelled. Let learned Court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32552 of 2015 (2) dt.10-08-2015 2/2 within a period of six weeks in connection with Neema Chandpur P.S. Case No. 25 of 2015, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai. With the observations above, the application stands disposed off.
