In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Gardanibagh P.S. Case No. 158 of 2016 registered for offences under sections 47(a)/47(b)/53(b) of the Bihar Excise Act.

As per allegation, the police received an information that from Rajendra Nagar Station, a Tempo, bearing No. BR-01PD-1371 with illegal foreign liquor, is going towards Road No.16 under Gardanibag police station which was intercepted by the police and, from the said Tempo, illegal foreign liquors were recovered. The petitioner is in judicial custody since 25.7.2016.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46327 of 2016 (3) dt.09-11-2016 Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Jitendra Prasad @ Jitendra Kumar, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Munsif-II cum Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Sadar, Patna in connection with Gardanibagh P.S. Case No. 158 of 2016.
