The petitioners seek bail in connection with NDPS P. S. Case No. 6 of 2020 / 10 of 2020 / NCB CR. No. 4 of 2020 dated 21.02.2020, instituted for the offence under Sections 8 (c), 22 (b)(c), 29 and 35 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

It has been submitted on behalf of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37718 of 2020(4) dt.07-04-2021 2/3 petitioners that one Raushan Lal was arrested by the police and from his possession psychotropic substances were recovered. The sample of the seized materials disclosed that the narcotic seized contained Phenothiazine which is normally used for treating allergies and for correcting sleep disorders. Apart from this, it has been submitted that the petitioners are being prosecuted in this case only on the confession of one co-accused who was arrested. They are stated to be in custody since 03.07.2020.

One of the accused persons of this case has been granted bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court. Considering all these facts, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge - V, Gaya, in connection
