Petitioner has inter alia prayed for following reliefs in the paragraphs No.1 of the writ petition:- "(i) For direction to the Vice Chancellor of the Veer Kunwar Singh University, Ara to pay the arrears of salary @ Rs.8,09,480/- from Dec. 1986 to Feb. 2006 along with statutory interest to the petitioner working as Demonstrator in the department of Geography, Gram Bharti College, Ramgarh, Kaimur at Bhabhua.

(ii) For payment of arrears of the revised scale of 6th and 7th pay revision to the petitioner with effect from the date of their actual entitlements after deducting payments already made to him.

(iii) For direction to the Vice Chancellor of the Veer Kunwar Singh University, Ara to promote the petitioner on the post of Lecturer in the department of

Patna High Court CWJC No.15702 of 2021(6) dt.26-06-2025 2/2 Geography, Gram Bharti College, Ramgarh, Kaimur at Bhabhua with all consequential benefits as he has put in 12 years of continuous service on the post of Demonstrator in terms of the Statutes for Promotion of Demonstrator to the post of Lecturer notified on 18.11.1980 together its amendments."

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner seeks to file a detailed representation before the Registrar, Veer Kunwar Singh University, Ara for the relief, as prayed for in the writ petition in paragraph no.1.

4. The Registrar of the University is required to consider the claim of the petitioner in terms of Memo 464 dated 08.03.2018, issued by the Deputy Secretary, Government of Bihar. If the same is not applicable in the case of the petitioner, a reasoned order giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner shall be passed in accordance with law.
