Petitioners, who are in custody, seek bail in connection with Karai Parsurai P.S. Case No. 66 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Considering the nature of allegation made against petitioners, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioners are hereby rejected. However, the trial court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial within one year from date of receipt/production of a copy of order passed by this Court.
