The petitioner prays for bail in Mansi P.S. Case No. 172 of 2016 registered under diverse provisions of the Arms Act. On a search of the motorcycle, one country-made loaded pistol is alleged to have been recovered from the person who was driving the motorcycle. Two other persons sitting thereon were, on search, not found possessed of any firearms. The petitioner is said to be one of them.

It is stated that the petitioner is in custody since 12.09.2016 carrying no criminal antecedents.

In the circumstances, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48944 of 2016 (2) dt.08-12-2016 2/2 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of CJM, Khagaria in Mansi P.S. Case No. 172 of 2016 on condition that one of the bailors of the petitioner shall be his own/close family member. In the event of framing of charge, the petitioner shall appear in person on each date fixed at the trial. In case of default in doing so on two consecutive dates, the trial court shall have liberty to cancel his bail bonds and secure his arrest in accordance with law.
