The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 379, 307, 384 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged that the petitioner assaulted the informant when his younger brother came to rescue he was also assaulted. The petitioner and co-accused Umashankar Thakur snatched gold chain of the informant. It is also alleged that wife of Umashankar Thakur was also assaulting with lathi. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that injuries of the informant and his younger brother have been found to be simple in nature and there is a counter

A statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Samastipur in connection with Chakmehsi P.S. Case No. 84 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
