Petitioner has prayed for the following relief(s):-
Patna High Court CWJC No.1201 of 2021 dt.03-02-2022 2/3 "1(i) For issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents concerned to pay the admitted dues amount for completion of the work of slogan and other works for the public awareness as per letter No - 756 dated-06/11 2017.
(ii) For issuance of any other appropriate writ/writs for making payment to the petitioner. (iii) For issuance of any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is entitled in the eye of law." Petitioner claims that for the work executed for and on behalf of the State, he is entitled for more than a sum of 11 ₹ lacs, whereas, as per the affidavit filed by the respondents, petitioner is entitled for only a sum of 57,820/-. ₹ Since serious disputed questions of fact are involved, which cannot be adjudicated in the present petition, we dispose of the present petition reserving liberty to the petitioner to take recourse to such remedies as are otherwise available in accordance with law.
We are hopeful that as and when such proceedings are initiated, the issue shall be adjudicated expeditiously and in accordance with law.
We clarify that we have not expressed any opinion on merits. All issues are left open.
The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
