Petitioner seeks bail in Case No. C2/215/19 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

In the written report, it is alleged that 198 litres Nepali liquor has been recovered from the bag of the petitioner. Petitioner was also arrested by the police.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that other accused persons have fled away and this petitioner was apprehended. It is not possible for one person to carry 198 litres liquor in a bag on his head.

Petitioner is in custody since 22.04.2019 having clean

In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge II cum Special Judge, Sitamarhi, in connection with Case No. C2/215/19, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
