The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Balrampur P.S. Case No. 46 of 2017 dated 01.04.2017, registered for the offence under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The accusation against the petitioner is with regard to recovery of 54 litters of illegal foreign liquor from the dickey of the vehicle of the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is the driver of the car and not the owner. It is further submitted that he has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 02.04.2017. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27293 of 2017 (2) dt.15-06-2017 2/2 case, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail.

Accordingly, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-II-cum- Special Judge, Katihar in connection with Balrampur P.S.
