2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Srinagar P.S. Case No. 77 of 2025 for the offences registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

3. On getting secret information, police team reached at the marked location and arrested the petitioner who was coming from Srinagar Village with motorcycle and going towards Diyara. It is alleged that total 12.6 litre illicit liquor was recovered from the motorcycle and shoulder bag of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He has no concern either with the seized liquor or with the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48216 of 2025(5) dt.24-09-2025 2/2 seized motorcycle. Petitioner has one criminal antecedent in which he is on bail. Charge-sheet has already been submitted in this case. Petitioner is in custody since 19.03.2025. Petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the trial.

5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the submissions made on behalf of the parties, facts and circumstances of the case and period of custody, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge, Excise-II, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Srinagar P.S. Case No. 77 of 2025.
