JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 29-08-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected twice by this Court vide order dated 7.9.2017 passed in Cr.Misc.No. 41317 of 2017 and vide order dated 20.12.2017 passed in Cr.Misc.No. 57792 of 2017 and allegation against the petitioner is of cutting throat of the victim by hasuli, causing grievous injury. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that there was direction of this Court that petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge and thereafter prayer for bail of the petitioner was against rejected and trial court was directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months and six month's period has already expired and petitioner is in custody since 12.6.2017 and only one witness has been examined in this case as per report.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48708 of 2018 (3) dt.29-08-2018 2/2 Heard learned APP and perused the report.

Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a further period of nine months without giving any unnecessary adjournment.
