The petitioner seeks prayer for bail on the ground that petitioner has been in custody for four years and the trial is yet not concluded.

The report had sought from the learned lower court regarding present stage of Sessions Trial No.87/2016 arising out of Agiaon (G) P.S. Case No.54/2015. The said report dated 03.08.2019 indicates that the trial has advanced to substantial stage and is likely to be concluded in a short period. This Court is thus, not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, hence this petition stands rejected. However, learned lower court will proceed with the trial on day to day basis. No undue adjournment be granted to either of the parties and the same must be concluded before
