The Petitioner seeks bail in Pothiya P.S. Case No. 14 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 366(A), 379, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The informant is the father of the victim girl who has alleged that on 17.01.2017, when he was going to Islampur for some work, his wife and daughter Farhat Naz were alone in the house and taking advantage of his absence, the accused persons in spite of protest by her wife took away his daughter. It has been further alleged that the victim Farhat Naz was having love affair with petitioner and in spite of objection of the wife of the informant they took her to their residence and when she returned

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29692 of 2017 (2) dt.07-07-2017 2/2 to his residence, the accused persons put pressure on informant to get his daughter married with the petitioner and thereafter the matter was reported to the police station. The victim girl was recovered on the next day and in her statement under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C before the learned Magistrate, she has stated that she was not harassed or ill treated by the accused persons. It has further come in the order of the court below that the matter has been compromised between the parties.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-II, Kishanganj in connection with Pothiya P.S. Case No. 14 of 2017. (S. Kumar, J) Ranjan/- U
