The petitioners are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 147,148,149,341,323,452,326B,354,379,380 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The accusation is of abusing by calling the caste name and making assault to the informant and her husband. It is also alleged that subsequently the accused persons threw acid on the informant but no injury was caused.

No.34157 of 2015 (2) dt.14-08-2015 2/2 It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the complaint was lodged on 22.3.2014 for the occurrence of 20.3.2014 which came to be registered as police case on 2.4.2014 and no injury was caused to any one. It is submitted by Mr. Ambika Bhagat, learned Special PP that chargesheet has been submitted. Considering the above facts and in view of the nature of accusation and Statement made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioners have no criminal antecedent, it is a case for consideration of the prayer for regular bail of the petitioners by the learned court below in case the petitioners surrender within six weeks from today in connection with Madhubani SC/ST P.S. Case No. 20 of 2014 pending in the court of learned ACJM, Madhubani. This application is disposed of with the aforesaid observation/direction.
