Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S.Case No. 404 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 447, 383, 385, 307, 379, 435, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.
Allegation against the petitioner is of demanding extortion and making firing and there is also allegation that he entered into the office of the informant and set on fire. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner and allegation of setting the office on fire has not been found to be true during investigation.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47096 of 2018 (3) dt.27-08-2018 2/2 Heard learned APP also, who has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.
Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
