The present writ application has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay the revised salary and pension as per the 6th pay revision recommendation.
Counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the
Patna High Court CWJC No.12094 of 2011 dt.19-08-2015 2/2 respondent Patna Municipal Corporation in which it has been stated that pursuant to the matter having been settled by the Courts, a decision has been taken to make payment to the retired employees relating to arrear of salary on account of 6th pay revision in a phased manner after undertaking the exercise of determining the individual entitlement of each employee.
It is agreed at the Bar that payment has been made to various persons in whose favour there was a decision of the Court. However, as per the stand taken in the counter affidavit, it is prayed that some reasonable time may be given to the respondent Patna Municipal Corporation to make payment to the petitioner. Accordingly, the application stands disposed off with a direction the respondents to pay the remaining admitted dues to the petitioner on account of implementation of the 6th pay revision recommendation within three months from the date of filing of an appropriate representation along with a copy of this order before the respondents no. 2, 3 and 4.
