2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Murliganj P.S. Case No. 137/2022 dated 19.03.2022 registered for the offence punishable u/s 341, 323, 324, 307, 379 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused persons are alleged to have assaulted the informant's son with lathi, dabiya and iron rod causing head injury and snatched Rs. 5,000/-, a mobile phone and chain worth Rs. 2,000/-.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39184 of 2025(2) dt.09-07-2025 2/3 that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. It is further submitted that 3 lacerated wounds were noticed on the injured out of which injury no. 1 and 2 are simple in nature whereas the injury no. 3 which was found near left eye-brow appears grievous in nature. There was money dispute between the informant and the petitioner's family. The petitioner has four antecedents as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 02.02.2025.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Madhepura in connection with Murliganj P.S. Case No. 137/2022, with the condition ;- (i). The petitioner is directed to remain physically present before the learned Court below on each and every date,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39184 of 2025(2) dt.09-07-2025 3/3 failing which on two consecutive dates without reasonable cause, the bail bond of the petitioner is liable to be cancelled.
7. The application stands allowed.
