Counsel for the respondents is, however, present. The writ application seeks a direction to the respondent University to consider and grant her promotion on the post of Assistant Professor-cum-Junior Scientist (senior scale) with effect from 17.07.2005 under Career Advancement Scheme. A counter affidavit has been filed in which a stand has been taken that the case of the petitioner is under consideration by the Sub committee of the Board of Management and upon submission of the report the final decision will be taken with regard to promotion of the petitioner. This appears to be the reasons for not prosecuting the present writ application. On 19.01.2015 the following orders was passed:-

Patna High Court CWJC No.19499 of 2010 (4) dt.27-01-2015 2 / 2 "Neither the counsel for the petitioner nor the counsel for the Respondent University on calls is present.

Post this application after seven days."

In the circumstances, this Court is left with no option but to dismiss the writ application for non prosecution. I order accordingly.
