The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Bikramganj P.S. Case No. 26 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.
Informant is the Manager of Bandhan Bank, who in his FIR has stated that four unknown miscreants looted Rs. 4,23,905/- from the bank and also damaged the property of bank. Name of petitioner has surfaced in this case on the basis of confessional statement made by co-accused Manish Kumar. Four looted currency 4x500 has been recovered from his possession.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.45524 of 2018(3) dt.29-08-2018 2/2 Similarly situated person, namely, Rakesh Paswan has already been granted bail by this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 27.08.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 38763 of 2018. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bikramganj, Rohtas, in connection with Bikramganj P.S.
