JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 01-05-2023 The limited prayer of the petitioner in the present writ petition is to direct the Circle Officer, Runnisaidpur, Sitamarhi to dispose off the encroachment proceedings pertaining to Encroachment case no. 08 of 2021-22. The learned counsel for the respondents submits that in case, the aforesaid encroachment proceedings have not been concluded, the same would be taken to its logical conclusion within a fixed time frame.

Having regard to the limited prayer made in the present writ petition, I direct the Circle Officer, Runnisaidpur, Sitamarhi to dispose off the aforesaid encroachment case by

Patna High Court CWJC No.10705 of 2022(2) dt.01-05-2023 2/2 passing the final order under Section 6(1) of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, if not already passed, in accordance with law and after hearing the affected parties, within a period of six weeks of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
