Petitioner seeks bail in Sasaram (Dehri) Rail P.S. Case No.139 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, Section 147 of the Railway Act.

It is alleged that total 15.760 litres illicit liquor has been recovered from possession of the petitioner while he was in passenger train when the aforesaid train reached at Dehri Station at 07.27 PM.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that Petitioner is in custody since 24.12.2018 having clean antecedents. In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38581 of 2019(2) dt.25-06-2019 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise, Gaya, in connection with Sasaram (Dehri) Rail P.S. Case No.139 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
