Case No. 20 of 1999) is listed for hearing.

2. Despite repeated calls, none appears on behalf of the appellants, whereas learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State is present.

3. Perusal of record shows that a living status report of accused-appellants was called for. In response thereto, Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur submitted a report dated 05.05.2026 based on the information furnished by S.H.O.,

Patna High Court CR. APP (DB) No.473 of 2009(3) dt.24-07-2026 2/2 Ahiyapur Police Station, Muzaffarpur apprising this Court that the appellant Nos. 1 and 2 namely- Hari Lal Paswan and Krishna Chaudhary @ Kishan Chaudhary have died on 24.09.2012 & 20.01.2021 respectively during pendency of this Criminal Appeal. The Death Certificate of appellant No. 1 dated 20.10.2012 issued by Department of Planning and Development, Directorate of Statistics and Evaluation & the Death Certificate of appellant No. 2 dated 24.02.2021 issued by Registrar (Birth & Death) Grama Panchayat, Shahbazpur are also enclosed along with the said report.

4. In view of the above, the instant Criminal Appeal filed by appellants namely- Hari Lal Paswan & Krishna Chaudhary @ Kishan Chaudhary stands abated.
