The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Complaint Case No.67C2 of 2016 registered under Sections 30(a) and 30(d) of the Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 31 liters illicit country made liquor from the under construction house of the co-accused Ganesh Mahto, the father of the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 07.10.2016.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on

No.133 of 2017 (2) dt.11-01-2017 2/2 bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hilsa (Nalanda), in connection with Complaint Case No.67C2 of 2016.
