This writ application was filed questioning the order dated 16.5.2000 whereby the claim of the petitioner for grant of scale of senior selection and super selection grade was considered and rejected. The writ application was admitted to hearing without any interim relief.

Mr. Prashant Vaibhav states that in spite of his best efforts, he has not been able to contact his client and, as such, he is unable to press this application.

Counsel for the State, with reference to statements made in the counter affidavit filed in the present case, however, states that the petitioner was already granted the scale of junior selection grade and senior selection grade.
