This is a case registered under Sections 17 and 18 of the NDPS Act.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the FIR discloses that the cultivation of Afim was done by one Jahru Bind. He further submits that from perusal of the FIR it appears that the petitioner is only the land owner who had given his land on batai to the said Jahru Bind. The other land owner who has also been named along with him has already been granted bail vide order dated 15.06.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 18503 of 2017. He also submits that the petitioner has clean antecedent prior to the instant case and he is in jail custody since 17.02.2017.

Let the petitioner above named be released on bail on his furnishing bonds of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Khagaria in Special Case No. 02 of 2016 arising out of Alauli P.S. Case No. 62 of 2016.
