The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36030 of 2015 (2) dt.21-08-2015 2/3 It is alleged that the accused persons came variously armed, assaulted the informant and his brother and snatched chain from the possession of the nephew of the informant.
It is submitted by learned senior counsel for the petitioners that in the background of land dispute the accusation has been levelled when title suit has been decreed in favour of the petitioners' side. There is a counter version of the occurrence also and petitioners' side have also received grievous injuries.
It is submitted by learned senior counsel for the informant that the injury of one of the victim has been found to be grievous.
Considering the fact that there is counter version of the occurrence, petitioners' side have also received injuries and a statement made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioners have no criminal antecedent, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial
