Petitioner seeks bail in Kasim Bazar P.S.Case No.149 of 2017 registered for the offences under Section 147, 384, 385, 307, 323, 504 of the I.P.C.
Allegation against the petitioner and other co-accused is of demand of rangdari of Rs.2/- lacs from the informant and also assault to him.
Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that no specific allegation is attributed to him. Heard learned A.P.P. also.
From perusal of the record it appears that the petitioner is accused in two more cases.
Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.47481 of 2018 (3) dt.20-09-2018 2/2 circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.
However, once charge is framed against the petitioner and the trial is commenced, the learned court below shall release the petitioner on bail to his own satisfaction. This application is disposed of.
