2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Gopalpur P.S. F.I.R. No. 08 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 137(2), 96, 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 4/6 of the POCSO Act, 2012.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have kidnapped the daughter of the informant.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. The petitioner is in custody since 06.03.2025.
5. Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State and learned
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38927 of 2025(2) dt.25-06-2025 2/2 counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
6. From the statement of the victim girl, it appears that she eloped with the petitioner and married with him.
7. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this application for regular bail is allowed.
8. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 6th Additional Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, POCSO Act, West Champaran at Bettiah /concerned Court below in connection with Gopalpur P.S. F.I.R. No. 08 of 2025.
