JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 01-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP appearing on behalf of the State. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No.24 of 2017 registered under Sections 323, 379, 498(A) and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The allegation in brief is that petitioner-husband of the informant, married in the year 2012, along with other family members used to torture the informant and ousted her from matrimonial home for not fulfilling the further demand of dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to keep his wife but when conciliation was held, she refused to go with him.
