In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Tajpur P.S. Case No. 71 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under sections 30 (a), 41 (i) (ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

A huge quantity of illegal liquor has been recovered from the house of one Abhishek Thakur, who has taken the name of this petitioner to be involved in the trade of illegal liquor. The petitioner has two criminal cases in the same nature. Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected.
