Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pay of the petitioner was verified by the Pay Verification Cell of the Education Department and even after approval of the same, the respondents have not worked out the arrears of difference of salary on account of revision of the scale.

Considering the fact that this writ petition was filed on 22.7.2015 but no counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondents, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the University to take appropriate decision for payment of difference of salary to the petitioner and ensure payment of the same within a period of 4 months from the date of
