2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Tankuppa P.S. Case No. 72 of 2026 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2022.

3. As per the prosecution case, the recovery is of 436.5 liters of illicit liquor.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 7.5.2026.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case.

6. Considering the facts of the case and also considering the period of custody of the petitioner, this application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court below in connection with Tankuppa P.S. Case No. 72 of 2026.

8. As a condition of this order, the petitioner after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Tankuppa Police Station on every Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U
