02. 13.07.2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

It is contended that, as per allegation, 192 bottles of foreign liquor each containing 180 ml were recovered from the dickey of the vehicle which was being driven by the petitioner. Petitioner claims that he is having clean antecedent and is in custody since 17.05.2017.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32660 of 2017 (2) dt.13-07-2017 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 256 of 2017 with a condition that if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
