1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned APP for the State and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 307, 353, 447 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Sections 135 and 138 of the Bihar Electricity Act in connection with Manpur P.S. Case No.193 of 2023.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that similarly situated co-accused Nitish Kumar @ Nitish Raut had approached this Court seeking anticipatory bail by filing Cr. Misc. No.24658 of 2024 and the same was allowed by an order dated 17.05.2024.

4. It is next submitted that case of the petitioner is akin to the case of Nitish, as such based on parity seeks anticipatory bail.

5. The learned APP and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd. opposes the anticipatory bail application, but then are not in a position to rebut the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the case of the petitioner is akin to Nitish Kumar @ Nitish Raut.

6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M., Ist, Nalanda at Biharsharif in connection with Manpur P.S. Case No.193 of 2023, subject to
