2. The prayer of the petitioner in this writ application reads as follows:
".... for direction to the respondents for make payment of dues arrear of salary of the petitioner after granting of second time bond promotion in pay scale of 1200-1800 with effect from 23.10.1997 to December, 2003 and the dues arrear of salary of the petitioner should be pay from 23.10.1997 to December, 2003 with permissible interest in light of letter no. 06 Patna dated 2 January, 2004 issued by the Chief of the Administration Bihar State Road Transport Corporation by the order of the administration B.S.R.T.C."
3. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner wants financial benefits with effect from 23.10.1997 whereas the policy of Time Bound Promotion itself in the State Government came to
Patna High Court CWJC No.19896 of 2010 (3) dt.26-06-2015 2/2 be abolished with effect from 01.01.1996, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merit of such claim, would only give the petitioner liberty to approach the authorities concerned for redressal of his grievance.
4. If the petitioner does so and files a representation, the competent authority of the Corporation shall take an appropriate decision but strictly in accordance with law and the policy of the Time Bound Promotion as was promulgated by the State Government in its Resolution dated 30.12.1989 and which remain in force only up to 31.12.1995.
5. With the aforementioned observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
