The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
As per the prosecution case, 108 litres approx of liquor was recovered from the vehicle being driven by the petitioner.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that no incriminating article has been recovered from his possession or from his vehicle. He has been falsely implicated in the case. He is in custody since 1.7.2021 and chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

No.52383 of 2021(2) dt.04-03-2022 2/2 Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case together with the petitioner having an antecedent under the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing one year in custody.
