JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 14-10-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P for the State through video conferencing. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Chakai P.S. Case No. 74 of 2022, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018. 1.980 litres of illicit liquor has been recovered from the the field of co-accused.

It is submitted that nothing has been recovered from conscious possession of petitioners or from their premises. Petitioners have got no concern with the said field or the seized liquor.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42630 of 2022(2) dt.14-10-2022 2/2 Counsel for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that petitioners have got criminal antecedents of similar nature.

Considering the criminal antecedents of petitioners, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners above-named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) vinita/- U T
