JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 11-07-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 204 of 2016 arising out of Sikroul P.S. Case No. 84 of 2015 instituted for the offence under Sections 324, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. From the impugned order it appears that the trial is proceeding and two witnesses have already been examined except the informant of this case.

In such circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected. The court below is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of six months from the date of

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31302 of 2017 (2) dt.11-07-2017 2/2 receipt of this order as the petitioner is in custody since 29.4.2016. The petitioner is given liberty to renew his prayer for bail in the court below in the event the trial is not concluded within six months and the court below in that case will give reason in the bail order for not concluding the trial within aforesaid period.
