Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Daraunda P.S. Case No. 158 of 2021 registered for the offence punishable under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case on basis of confessional statement of co-accused. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of this petitioner. Petitioner is neither the owner of the vehicle in question nor has any concern with the seized illicit liquor. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Case No. 158 of 2021 subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
