JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 10-08-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner, in the present case, is seeking regular bail in connection with Kurshakanta (Sonamani Godam) P.S. Case No.107 of 2017, registered for offences alleged under Sections 22/23/24 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there are several discrepancies in the matter of seizure of the alleged Heroin.

However, learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for bail saying that two packets of 450 gm each total 900 gm "Double Tiger Brand" Heroin has been recovered from the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36357 of 2017 (2) dt.10-08-2017 possession of the petitioner, market value of the same is worth Rs. six crore and investigation in the present case is still in progress. Considering the nature of allegations, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. The application is dismissed.
