JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 08-04-2017 Heard Sri Ebrahim Kabir , learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Dhurjatti Kumar Prasad, learned GP No. 14. The present writ petition pertains to selection of Constables pursuant to an advertisement, which was published long back in the year 2004.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner's name was in the waiting list but even then, she has not been selected.

Learned State Counsel submits that keeping in view the fact that claim made in the present case is on the basis of an advertisement of the year 2004 of Constable recruitment and the fact that none of the persons below petitioner even in waiting list

Patna High Court CWJC No.7798 of 2010 (5) dt.08-04-2017 2/2 has been selected, the petitioner cannot claim as a matter of right to be appointed. Moreover, according to learned State Counsel life of panel expires only after one year.

Considering the fact that writ petition is in relation to an advertisement of the year 2004 as well as the fact that none of the persons below petitioner even in waiting list were selected, there is no reason to pass any favorable order.

The writ petition stands dismissed.
